Elemi
Elemi is a fresh, lemony-resinous, slightly peppery note derived from the resin of the Canarium tree. It has a bright, sharp opening reminiscent of lemon zest and pine, with a balsamic, incense-like drydown, often used as a bridge between citrus top notes and resinous or woody bases.
